Disk Wiper fits on one bootable diskette. You only need to boot the computer with it, specify erasing parameters and begin wiping. Graphical wizard interface will make this process ease.
Disk Wiper erases all data including partitions, folders, directories, files, file tables, dynamic drive overlays and master boot record information (the latter two options - if erasing hard disk is specified). It erases all viruses including master boot sector viruses (if erasing hard disk is specified).
Choose only required areas
Erase whole hard disk(s) or erase separate partition(s). You can specify the only particular partition or select multiple partitions to be erased. You can also select unpartitioned space of hard disk for erasing.
Select security option
Paragon Disk Wiper can erase the data overwriting it in one pass, or in multiple passes. This ensures eliminating of data.
Disk Wiper Personal Version overwrites the disk with a single overwrite pass or with two passes. In Professional Version of Disk Wiper can overwrite with up to 99 passes.
Triple pass overwrite meets U.S. Department of Defense specifications. Seven pass overwrite meets German specifications.
Choose your erasing mask
You can specify erasing mask either in Hex or in Ascii format. Thus mask can be any byte from 0x00 to 0xff.
Check the results
After erasing process you can run verification of the results. You can choose Quick, Full or Manual verification. In Quick verification option the custom percentage of erased area will be verified. In Manual verification you can check the results visually, specifying particular sector of erased area.
